If you have taken Zentangle 101 in the past (from us or another Certified Zentangle Teacher) we are inviting you to sit in on Zentangle 101 at the Barn for a $5 fee. You MUST contact Stacy to register by the 7/18/14 deadline. There is limited seating available on a first come first serve basis.

Zentangle 101, The Basics
$35 (Includes the *Starter Kit valued at $10)
Learn the philosophy behind the process, understand the steps to creating this beautiful art and create 2 complete tiles of your own to take with you.
*Starter Kit is yours to keep! Includes all the materials for this class and more - Zentangle Tiles, Micron Pigma 01 Black pen, pencil, sharpener, blending stump, manilla tags, a small blank card and envelope plus handouts.

Zendalas - An Introduction to Working "In the Round"
A Zendala is the Zentangle® version of a Mandala. The practice of creating Mandalas is a very old tradition in many cultures. Intended as a meditation tool to many, working in a circle has a very different, flowing dynamic. When combined with the process of repetitive pattern drawing, the induced meditative state takes your creativity to a whole new level. Come relax and experience this process “in the round” while creating beautiful, intricate, abstract art.
The skills developed through this art form extend beyond the end result of a finished piece of abstract art. Remove creative blocks, induce a state of mindfulness, increase focus, experience relaxation, build self-esteem, indulge in self-expression and bolster confidence.
This class is a structured approach to working "In the Round" on “pre-strung” Zendala tiles. We will be creating our Zendalas in the traditional black ink on round, white tiles. Come and learn some new tangles, add shading, create and enjoy!
PREREQUISITE: Zentangle 101 class with a Certified Zentangle Teacher is Required.
Class fee $35. 2 hours. Includes 5 Zendala tiles. (3 pre-strung, 2 blank).
Bring your own black Micron 01 pen (or other archival black pen), pencil, blending stump and sketchbook.
